John 5 tells of a pool in Bethesda where multitudes of sick people would go to be healed. They would wait for the “moving of the water” and the first one in would be healed of whatever infirmity he or she had. Jesus came by and saw a crippled man there who had been sick for 38 years. Jesus said, “Wilt thou be made whole?” The man answered that he had no one to put him in the water when it was troubled. Jesus said, “Rise, take up thy bed and walk.” The man was made whole! That same Jesus is still in the miracle business. We don’t have to wait for an angel to come to a certain area now. Anytime we let faith arise in God’s word, we can “step into the moving waters” and receive salvation, deliverance, and healing. It is for everyone and it is for today! Quit letting the devil steal what is rightfully yours!
Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s. -- Psalm 103:2-5
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. -- Isaiah 53:5
